How to adjust CNC press brake?

1. Machine adjustment

Due to the difference between the thickness of the folded plate and the V-shaped opening size of the lower die, the stroke distance of the ram must be adjusted according to the needs.

Press the up and down buttons on the electrical box to make the small motor forward and reverse to reach the extension length of the control piston, that is, to control the stroke of the ram, and there are indications next to the oil cylinder.

Note: the ram must be at the top dead center (i.e. the ram must be pressed on the travel switch) before the adjustment is effective.

2. Adjustment of upper limit of ram

When the ram rises, the upper sleeve touches the travel switch to make the ram stay at the required position, which can reduce the empty distance of the ram and improve labor productivity.

In the “continuous” specification, the command of continuous action can also be issued.

3. Adjustment of “slow” action of the ram

When the ram moves down, the lower limit block touches the travel switch to make the ram move slowly.

4. Adjustment of the gap between the punch and die

When the lower part of the punch approaches the V-shape of the lower die, the gap can be measured, and then the lifting distance of the ram can be corrected.

5. Adjustment of workpiece bending angle

The ram and worktable of the machine inevitably deflect during operation, so that sometimes the middle angle of the bending workpiece is greater than the angle of both ends. The screws of the working panel can be fine tuned to make the workpiece angle basically consistent.

This function has been adjusted before the machine tool leaves the factory and generally does not need to be adjusted.

6. Adjustment of bending pressure

Check the table or calculate the tonnage pressure of the folded plate according to the pressure formula, then adjust the handwheel of the remote regulating valve. Make the pressure slightly greater than the folded plate tonnage, which can reduce the unnecessary load of the machine.

7. Adjust the parallelism between the bottom of the ram and the worktable.

After using for a period of time, if it is found that the folding angles at both ends of the workpiece are inconsistent, the adjusting block at the lower end of the oil cylinder can be adjusted. Keep the bottom of the ram parallel to the worktable.
