The top punch has 88°, 86°, 84°, 30° acute punch, 25° acute punch, etc.
There are no clear regulations on the top punch, but the acute punch usually folds those thin plates, 88° punch to fold thick plates and 84° punch to fold grooved plates.
In addition, the selection of the top punch is also related to the final shape of the bending part.
The selection of straight punch and gooseneck punch is based on the standard of no collision.
If the opening distance of type C workpiece is large, straight punch and gooseneck punch can be used. If the opening distance is small, the gooseneck punch can only be used.
If the press brake can simulate bending, it is more convenient to select a punch.
Generally, 88° punch is almost enough for 1.5mm plate.
