Based on its working mode, laser welding machines can be divided into various types, such as handheld laser welding equipment (also known as laser mold welding machines), automatic laser welding machines, jewelry laser welding machines, laser spot welding machines, optical fiber transmission laser welding machines, galvanometer welding machines, and handheld welding machines.

Laser welding involves using high-energy laser pulses to heat a small area of a material. The laser’s energy is absorbed into the material, causing internal diffusion through heat transfer, resulting in the material melting and forming a specific molten pool.

Analysis of precautions for safe and correct use of laser welding machine:
1. Preparation before starting the laser welding machine
- Check whether the power supply and water circulation of the laser welding machine are normal;
- Check whether the gas connection of equipment in the machine is normal;
- Check that the machine surface is free of dust, spots, oil stains, etc.
2. Laser welding machine on / off
Startup of laser welding machine:
- Turn on the power supply and turn on the main power switch;
- Turn on the water cooler and laser generator in sequence;
- Open the argon valve and adjust the gas flow;
- Enter the working parameters to be executed currently;
- Perform welding operations.
Laser welding machine shutdown:
- Exit the program and turn off the laser generator;
- Turn off the dust remover, water cooler and other equipment in sequence;
- Close the valve of argon cylinder;
- Turn off the main power switch.
3. Precautions for safe use of laser welding machine
During operation, if an emergency occurs such as water leakage or abnormal sound of laser, press the emergency stop immediately and cut off the power supply quickly.
Before operating the laser welding machine, turn on the external circulating water switch of the laser welding machine.
It is strictly prohibited to start up the machine if the cooling system fails as the laser system adopts water cooling mode and the laser power supply adopts air cooling mode.
Do not disassemble any parts of the machine without proper authorization.
Do not weld when the safety door of the machine is open.
To avoid eye injury, it is forbidden to look directly at the laser or reflect the laser with your eyes when the laser is working. Instead, face the laser welding joint with your eyes.
In order to prevent fire and explosion, do not place inflammable and explosive materials on the laser light path or where the laser beam can be irradiated.
During operation, the circuit is in a state of high voltage and strong current. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to touch any circuit components in the machine during operation.
Only trained personnel are allowed to operate this machine.
The laser welding machine has a high degree of automation and a simple welding process. The non-contact operation method meets the requirements of cleanliness and environmental protection.
Using the laser welding machine to process workpieces can significantly improve work efficiency. The finished workpieces have a beautiful appearance, small weld, large welding depth, and high welding quality.
