The Yaskawa servo motor is divided into AC and DC servo motors and is widely used in China for applications in the semiconductor, liquid crystal manufacturing, electronic component packaging, machine tool, and general machinery industries.

Yaskawa servo motors are divided into four series: Σ-Ⅰ, Σ-Ⅱ, Σ-Ⅲ, and Σ-Ⅴ. Currently, Σ-Ⅰ and Σ-Ⅱ (excluding large capacity) have been discontinued, while the Σ-V series is the most widely used in China. There’s also the simple servo product, Junma series.
YASKAWA Motor (China) Co., Ltd. is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise invested in by Japan Yaskawa Motor Co., Ltd. with a nearly 100-year history. It was established in Shanghai in April 1999 with a registered capital of 51.6 million USD.
